The club is delighted to have had spaces allocated to them on the MCC Hub which started in January in Leominster. 6 of our Under 17 side, all of who were part of last seasons successful U15 team and most of whom have broken into he senior sides in recent years, have been regularly attending the nets. We are excited that to already be seeing the massive strides made by these players when they attend senior nets which also started in late January. With help of coaches such as Nick Ashton and Pete Gale who have long been associated with our club, the players attend sessions every Wednesday and are put through their paces, learning and improving in all the disciplines of the game.
The MCC Hub is aimed at youngsters attending non fee paying schools and is a great initiative to ensure that quality coaching is available.
Our Development Officer, Tim Fawbert has regular discussions with Pete Gale to ensure that we are continuing to work on the key coaching points with each of our attendees and hopefully reap the benefits when the season starts in April.
Senior nets are held on Tuesdays at Hereford Sixth Form College from 7.30pm to 9pm
