A month after staring senior nets at Hereford Sixth Form College, there is a really good buzz amongst all the players and everyone is starting to get excited about the season which starts in less than 2 months time.

We have seen an influx of new players especially to the First and Second teams and they all seem to be enjoying the atmosphere too.

Together with the coaches we have a new format for training which involves working on fielding and reaction skills rather than just batting and bowling and we have definitely seen improvements in the last few weeks.

There is an opportunity to choose between different nets so players can find the level they are comfortable with, but still challenge themselves.

First XI captain Ryan Trattell and 2nd Xi leader Simon Davies are so far more than happy with the start and optimism and confidence are growing fast.

We always welcome new players who want to join in, play some cricket and above all have fun.
